Chair in Human Geography & Director of the Centre for Housing Research
Applications are invited for a Chair in Human Geography and Director of the Centre for Housing Research. Founded in 1990, the Centre has built on its strengths to become the largest housing research centre in Scotland and one of the leading centres in the UK. A Director is being sought who will champion new initiatives and build on the Centre’s existing world class research programmes. This post arises at an exciting time in the development of the Centre for Housing Research. Applicants should have experience of providing academic leadership, first class management skills, a capacity to earn significant funding as being an internationally recognized scholar. The successful candidate will also be expected to have a record of engaging pro-actively with policy makers, practitioners and other stakeholders in the housing sector, enhancing the reputation of the Centre for Housing Research in Knowledge Exchange and in providing leading-edge applied research.
