Tiny Houses

Megan's thesis is entitled: 'Tiny house, Big Impact?': Exploring the Tiny Home Lifestyle in the United States'. Her research explored the significance of the tiny house lifestyle as it relates to contemporary housing crisis and sustainable housing potentials. Despite growing awareness, this lifestyle has been neglected as the subject of rigorous academic study. Providing one of the first in-depth academic investigations into the world of tiny houses, she toured homes, attended events and festivals, stayed in a tiny house community, and interviewed dozens of 'tiny housers'.
